We have found safe harbor for Marta's pups, but now, it's her life that is in peril. Marta is a quiet, beautiful German Shepherd. She has a graceful gait and submissive demeanor. Once she gets to know you, she readily approaches for love pats. Unfortunately, Marta is heartworm positive a disease that we cannot afford to treat. We feel that Marta is a very adoptable dog, but we she needs to be cured of this disease before we can make her available.
